Our strongest complaint has come from the "Get Rich", "Work from Home", "Lose 30lbs in 30 Days!", "Own A Computer?" signs that you probably see on most street corners. 99% of these come from a multi-level marketing company called Herbalife. Processing Medical Billing Claims (Scam 2)
You can find ads stating you can earn thousands working from home processing medicall billing claims in almost every city - from signs on the street and posted on telephone poles on your corner to your newspaper and PC. We must admit, we all find these ads with curiousity with hopes of making big money. But proceed with extreme cautions.

Data Entry/Compiler/Typist Ads (Scam 3)
I'm sure you have seen an ad like this: [ Data Entry/ Typist: We are now accepting applications for our at home data entry/ typists positions. Work is simple and can be done full or part time. Work involves simple typing and clerical work. $250.00-$500.00 per week.]

Envelope Stuffing Scams (Scam 4)
It seems like everywhere you turn there is an ad promising hundreds of dollars a week, just for stuffing envelopes.

Home Assembly and Crafting Jobs (Scam 5)
You see a job offer for "Home Based Assembly" to perform assembly, sewing or crafting work from home.

800 to 900 Switching Scams (Scam 6)
You apply for a work at home job (usually Data Entry or Typists positions.) The job offers great pay and requires little experience. The employer tells you that before you can start working they need to check and verify your home phone line to make sure that your line is clear. You will be asked to call an 800 number and follow the voice prompts.
