Wearing the suit of success and having a solid reputation in the industry gives people the confidence they need to take their organization to new heights.

If there's one method of building a network marketing business that can take someone from "total newbie" status to the top of the earnings ladder, it's organizing networking get-togethers that can grow your business faster than you think is even possible.

If you're a social type (or if you like building an organization fast), one of the best ways to do it is holding DVD parties. There's no better way to generate a LOT of new affiliates in a short period of time. The DVD Party Method relies on the power of third-party validation, which basically means "anyone but YOU, confirming that what you are teaching people about GDI is true."

Think "Power in Numbers".

Here is a brief outline of how the DVD Party Method works. Depending on your resources, there are several ways to generate prospects to attend your DVD parties. You can first begin with your warm market to gain the skills you need to make these powerhouse "recruiting hours" effective for you.

Or you can place a simple ad in the "help needed" or "employment" section of your local classifieds, along with your phone number. When you start getting respondents, simply make an appointment with them and give them the time that you're having your next DVD party as the appointment time/date.

A DVD party lasts approximately 1 hour. To make them successful, you should make sure you have plenty of drinks and snacks on hand, and plenty of seating. You don't want anyone to stand up for the entire presentation.

Here's what you'll need:

* A TV with a DVD player hooked up to it
* A copy of the GDI Marketing DVD
* Pen and notepad
* Your computer

As people begin arriving, get them to write their name, email address and phone number on your notepad so you'll have a record of who attended. The first 5 minutes of the party should just be introductions. Introduce yourself to your guests and tell them that today (or tonight) you will be introducing them to one of the most powerful opportunities to earn a living from home.

Make sure they understand that in order to be successful in GDI, the only skill they need is to be able to show people the same DVD presentation that you are about to show them, either at their homes, or by distributing the DVD.

Then, when everyone is ready to begin and has been seated, start the DVD and let people know to hold their questions until the presentation is over. When the DVD presentation is over, you'll let people know that they can start promoting GDI and making money right away, and have your computer ready (preferably setup and Internet connected in the same room where you are presenting).

Get a show of hands of the people who have an interest in the business, let them know that you'll help them get signed and started right now, and that you can help them do the presenting until they are familiar and comfortable with the business.

Politely excuse the people who are not interested, and thank them for their valuable time.

Now is the time to get people signed up. On your computer, go directly to the signup page. Allow the first person to create his/her account with GDI and help them choose their domain name if they need help. As they are doing this, answer any remaining questions the rest of the attendants might have and let them mingle, discuss the opportunity and enjoy snacks.

Get as many people as you can signed up right then and there. If there is someone who must leave before they are signed up, make sure to give them a business card, or at least your contact information and a link to your GDI site.

Before you end the DVD party, let everyone know what the next step is. They should take some time to learn about GDI and find at least five friends or contact to invite to YOUR next DVD party. You can work as a team with all the people you signup, and allow them to invite their prospects to your DVD parties until they are comfortable with how things are done, at which time they can start holding their own DVD parties in their home or office. Normally, a new rep will be comfortable with how to hold a DVD party after attending just a few of yours.

The reason this is powerful is that after a few parties, the ratio of reps to party attendants increases. It is no longer 5 or 10 prospects listening to a lone GDI affiliate, it is often 20 or 30 attendants watching the DVD with 6 or 7 affiliates. More affiliates to answer questions, and excellent third-party validation (someone other than YOU telling prospects that this opportunity is for real), makes A LOT of difference.

No important battle was ever won with a one-man army. You are fighting for a better future for yourself and your family. What more important battle is there?
