2007 has arrived, and we are so excited. I don’t think we’ve ever started a year where all the key pieces were aligned so well. For those of you who may not have been keeping up on SFI, here’s why I say 2007 is going to be such a fantastic year:

1. New enhancements to the comp plan

On January 1st we unveiled some powerful enhancements to SFI’s T-Net compensation plan. We simplified it. We made it pay out more and faster (including instant-pay commissions). We also lowered the qualifications so that the biggest bucks are now realistically attainable by ALL.

And in maybe the biggest enhancement of them all, we’ve brought back the Powerline to SFI! Every affiliate you refer to SFI will now have hundreds of new affiliates placed under them every day…automatically. And every affiliate added adds to the commissions that your affiliates can earn!

Powerline is the proverbial “800-pound gorilla” and this big boy now works for EVERY SFI affiliate, not just the heavy hitters.

Keep a pad of paper and a pen in your shirt pocket, your purse or on your bedside table. Or start a pile of index cards with ideas written on them. Periodically throw away the ones that don’t cut it, and hang on to those that might be before their time, says Rita McGrath, author of MarketBusters: 40 Strategic Moves That Drive Exceptional Business Growth.

Every edition of your daily newspaper contains at least five million-dollar ideas if you know what to look for, says Allen. In fact, he points out, just about every object around you made someone a fortune–whether it’s a lamp, your computer or the paint on your walls. Dream up ways to improve or rework those same products to create another big idea.

Who can’t work from home? Think of all the people who already earn a living out of their homes: self-employed, telecommuters, free-lancers, writers, artists, consultants, and many web-based employees. And as we shift from a production-based economy to an information-based one, even more people will be able to work from home. The future promises a lot of home-based employment.

But what if you want to make money from home now? There are plenty of ways today to earn a buck or a million from your house. Starting a new work at home business or joining an existing successful business operation are two ways of creating income without having to leave home. Each has its advantages. Starting your own business is a challenge–you have to create a product or service and make the public understand why it’s better than another–but creates a great sense of accomplishment.

Franchising or buying another proven company isn’t as creative, but it generally has a higher success rate than starting your own business: someone else has done all the leg work and worked out the bugs. All you have to do is follow their business plan and share in the wealth. And if you have the right business–plus some luck–the only time you’ll leave home is to take wonderful vacations.
