A bonus is that you can do this from anywhere.

We still need farms and factories, but the bulk of our future is built on ones and zeroes--pure data. And here's the beauty in that: we no longer need to work in a centralized office. International corporations will continue to devour smaller companies, but in the online marketplace, everyone has a voice; everyone is a click away and a delete button from good bye. Home based internet businesses let anyone with a modem set up shop from anyplace--and compete against the big guys. Not every business will survive, but the playing field is much more level online.
