You probably know that ebook marketing is nothing new. In fact, it is one of the earliest and easiest forms of making money on the Internet by selling your own product. So easy in fact that now every Tom, Dick and Harry can create an e-book in less than a week, put up a sales page and start selling it on the Internet. Such is the reality of ebook marketing in 2006.

The myth is that you cannot make money from creating and selling ebooks any more. I recently created an 18 page ebook targeted to a very small niche market, made a cool $1,000 before the ebook was even finished, and another $2,100 since early May 2006. Therefore, the truth is that there is still a lot of potential for profiting from ebooks, it is just that the rules have changed dramatically.
